The Art of Jewellery in the Lands of the Orient

The exhibition in the main building of the Museum of West Bohemia presents jewellery and ornaments that have been a part of clothing, a demonstration of social status and individual taste from time immemorial. Here, you can admire the sophisticated jewellery art from different corners of Asia, Africa and parts of Europe, which approach jewellery and its importance in a similar way despite the distance in geography and opinion. You have a unique chance to be among the first who will see many of objects for the first time, since they have never appeared at any exhibition before. The exhibition is open to the public every day except Monday, from 10 am to 6 pm.
