As last year, the Martin’s market will be held on the Republic Square in Pilsen. You can look forward to stalls with delicacies that no proper market should miss. Have a trdelník, watch a demonstration of a folk craft, chat with friends. Folk crafts will be represented by a blacksmith, a carver, a wicker basket maker or a candle or pottery maker. In addition to folk traditions, crafts and the autumn fair, there is a rich accompanying programme for children and adults. Musical bands of various genres, from folk to rock, will perform at three, four and five o’clock. Everything will culminate on the last day, on the St Martin’s Day, when Martin will arrive on a white horse with his retinue.
