Sporting ground
At Škoda Sports Park, there are several grounds for ball sports, including beach volleyball, football tennis, and streetball. Aside from rollerskating along the over 500-metre-long in-line skating track, you can also exercise at the outdoor workout area or learn some skateboarding tricks at the skatepark. Then there’s a 12-metre-tall climbing wall for any adventure-seekers. Next, you’ll find a ball hockey court and a multi-functional sporting ground for playing pétanque. If you’d like to have any of the fields or grounds to yourself, you can easily reserve them online.
For smaller athletes, there’s a fenced children’s playground complete with a sand pit, swings, a slide, and trampolines. They’ll also have loads of fun at the nearby iHřišti playground. This is an interactive play area with a station that reacts to the mobile app that you can download for free. Once you log in and scan the sign, you can complete the given tasks. You can play on your own or compete against others and compare your results with your friends. Nearby the river, you’ll also find a 9-hole disc golf course, and you can hire the discs from the food stand. And after November, you can skate around on the frozen ice rink, where you can also hire skates and bar stabilisers.
