Sports for young an old
You can visit the Škodaland sporting ground and experience its 400-metre-long in-line track, used even by Czech speed skater Martina Sáblíková, or take your kids to the traffic playground, complete with street signs and signals. You can also play football, football tennis, beach volleyball, basketball, and 18-hole minigolf here. You can hire all sporting equipment in the main building, while the individual sporting grounds and fields can be reserved online in advance. You can also use the workout area, the climbing castle with a slide, the swings, the rope pyramid, the air trampolines, the traffic playground, and the centre for seniors and its many exercise machines.
You can also hire paddleboats and paddleboards here for the reservoir or play disc golf in the former car camp nearby. Children are sure to love the new, interactive toy Memo, where they can enjoy a slightly different take on games like card match and tag. In the main building, right after the entrance to the sporting ground, you’ll find the equipment hire service, changing rooms, restrooms, and a restaurant with a terrace.
In the summer, the swimming pond is worth a visit, especially thanks to its special, chlorine-free treatment, making it ideal for mothers with children or anyone suffering from allergies. And any little ones can play in the paddling pool and slide. The pond is surrounded by rocks and a sandy beach, and there are changing rooms and beach chairs available here. Admission is 80 CZK for adults and 40 CZK for children aged 6-12.
